Ingredients: Rooibos, Coconut, Cocoa, Carob, Almonds

For the perfect cup of Macaroon Rooibos tea infuse one tea bag in 12 oz of freshly boiled water, brew for 7 to 9 minutes. Serve with honey and milk.

Rooibos tea is herbal and caffeine-free, it is made from a South African red bush and is sometimes called red tea. Rooibos contains anti-oxidants which can help slow the aging process and boost the immune system. Many of the flavonoids in rooibos have antimutagenic activity, protect against unwanted genetic damage to cells.

It contains an active substance that is effective against asthma. Carob is also used for asthma problems caused by allergies.

Almonds contain the most nutrients in comparison to all other nuts. Mono-saturated fat, protein and potassium contained in almonds are good for the heart. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant and reduces the risk of heart diseases. Almonds help maintain a healthy blood-sugar level.
